DISC: US Secretary of State declared that Russia considers Iran as a threat to international security.
Mrs. Clinton openly declared that the Russian Federation has cosidered further sanctions on Iran, if the Islamic Republic does not ensure that its nuclear programme is going to be used for peaceful ends.
Moscow has declared that diplomacy has to be used before establishing further sanctions, however, is considers that if Tehran does not complain with the requests of the international community to ensure that Iran's nuclear programme is going to be used for peaceful ends that helps the development of that nation. US and Russian relations have been strengthen since the Islamic Republic of Iran tested a long-range missile two weeks ago, due to the threat that this fact represents to either the international or regional security.
Is the duty of the States present in the Disarmament and International Security Committee to take into account that diplomatic measures should be applied rather than hostiles ones. The States must have in mind that further sanctions are not dismissed, but they have to be left as the last option in this security situation.
