Reduction of Military Budgets. During the opening topic procedure most of the delegations looked forward to open this topic as they consider it important in the current context of the international scenario. Most of the delegates showed interest and knowledge in the topic and after one hour of high level debate some proposals were done. Nevertheless, while the delegates were in a Caucus the DISC Chair was informed of some important issues concerning the delegations of Israel, Iran, China and United States which provoked tensions and broke the initial negotiations between the delegates. After two and a half hours of debate and discussion the first session ended with a tone of tension and uncertainty between the delegations as the news continued to be published, causing a commotion among the delegates and threatening the international stability.
