The first Model day for this committee was very motivating and promising. After
the ceremony, photos, and other activities, UNSCOP opened its topic (The
Partition of the Palestine Territory) at 5:30 with no problems.
All the present delegations showed an active participation and in only one
hour, most countries had established their postures and had proposed many
different ideas and possible resolutions for the conflict between the Arab
groups and the Zionist groups, taking into account all the different aspects
related to the problem.
In only some hours, the Chair has been left with a very good first impression
of all the delegations as well as impatience and curiosity regarding the next
sessions and days. We also hope and know that the debate will not only continue
progressing as it has until now, but also that all delegates will integrate and
work together, united, in order to find a viable solution for the topic.
Waiting to see and live the next sessions, with a lot of anticipation and love,
we thank you once again for choosing this committee and will see all of you
