DISC: Crisis & negotiations.

The DISC has cooperated with the European Council in order to solve the crisis concerning Iran's and the measures that have applied by the European Union.

During the past sessions, the delegates from DISC and the ministers from the European Council have debated about what actions should be applied on Iran; taking into account that Tehran declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran is capable of deploying a nuclear warhead. Due to some declarations issued by the delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the European Union has decided to cut off all the diplomatic relations with this country. 

In this moment the delegates from DISC have created to blocs in order to create possible working papers; one that includes all the members of the European Union and one that is willing to negotiate with the DPRK. The Chair hopes to achieve a possible working paper that avoids the application of any sanctions.
