UNSCOP: The Last Day

October 24th, the last day of the Model. With only three sessions left, all our delegates debated among themselves in order to create a draft resolution that was finally approved by the Under Secretary General. With this resolution, UNSCOP´s unique topic: the partition of the Palestine territory (1947) and its crisis: the first Palestine-Israel war (1948) were solved.

During these three days, understanding and collaboration between all the delegates was seen. Dialogue was achieved, negotiations were made, postures were defended. We can certainly say that all the work done is appreciated and in a way, this was a successful committee that contributed with its own little piece in creating a more united world in the future.
