Dear delegates,

As UNSCOP’s Chair, it is our pleasure to welcome you to Mexmun 2009. We appreciate your assistance in this international forum and we certainly want it to be a way of strengthening and promoting new links for proposing and developing real solutions for critical issues.

We have a full agenda during the next three days, and on behalf of our committee, we wish to transmit to you our day by day objectives. We are fully involved in trying to convey our best values for each of our delegates. The quality that we attempt to show on every debate not only stays there, but remains in the ability of our delegates to maintain diplomatic communication and a vivid interest in global issues.

Our unique topic for the event is the “Partition of the Palestinian Territory”. We expect from each one of our delegates compromise and determination for the resolution of the topic, as well as respect and collaboration within the whole committee.

On behalf of the entire committee, we hope that this event will be the continuation of a shared process in terms of global issues, and that it meets the expectations that you had put on this project.

Looking forward to meeting you all in Mexmun 2009, at what promises to be the most stimulating and enjoyable event,
